Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson welcomed a baby girl named Birdie Mae on Tuesday, she announced via social media on Wednesday. Little Birdie weighed in at 10 pounds, 13 ounces.

Simpson had a tough pregnancy with a bad case of swollen feet and a hospitalization for bronchitis.

Singer-turned-designer Simpson announced that she was pregnant in September with a gender reveal celebration.

Her baby news came just a year after she told Ellen DeGeneres that “nothing’s gonna get in [her] uterus” again.

This is the third child for Simpson, 38, and husband Eric Johnson, 39. Their new bundle of joy joins sister Maxwell Drew, 6, and brother Ace Knute, 5.
