The sheriff’s deputies were on patrol checking businesses in the area of Cabot Road and Vista Viejo Road at about 4 a.m. and “had to do a double take” when they saw someone resembling the president causing damage to a parked vehicle, a Sheriff’s Department statement said.

The suspect was identified as Rory Zimmerman.

Zimmerman was allegedly wearing body armor, with a loaded handgun and an airsoft shotgun in his vehicle, said Carrie Braun, a sheriff’s spokeswoman. He also had a helmet with him and, authorities said, his vehicle had fake license plates.

Zimmerman was arrested and booked into Orange County jail on suspicion of felony vandalism. His bail was set at $100,000, Braun said.
