PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Workers at UPMC will be on the picket line this week for a one day strike, seeking better pay, benefits and the ability to unionize.

The strike will take place at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday near Terrace and Darragh Streets.

Several Pittsburgh politicians are expected to attend, including Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman. Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has emailed his supporters to join the rally and take part in the picketing in Oakland.
