Samsung fans should be bracing themselves for some exciting months ahead. If the impending launch of the Galaxy Note 10 phablets isn’t satisfying enough, and the eventual full release of the Galaxy Fold smartphone isn’t of interest, well apparently the company may have yet another product in development to amaze the tech world with. Renowned leaker and general Samsung fortune-teller Ice universe has offered some very cryptic words, even by his standards, about another device that smartphone fans may have overlooked. This is what he had to say about the matter:

Of course, as soon as he said “don’t ask more” there was a flood of comments asking for more. However, some respondents have chosen to speculate on what possible device Samsung could be preparing that would be even more “creative” than either the Galaxy Fold or Galaxy Note 10. It’s important to note the use of the word “creative” here, as that does not necessarily mean better or higher-specced.

The Samsung Galaxy A90 has already been frequently mentioned, and it can be seen why this particular smartphone has been selected as an early contender for “creative Samsung smartphone”. The device is expected to come with a nifty sliding mechanism that allows for an unblemished full-screen display. It’s even believed it will have some serious gaming chops, so that it can be tentatively labeled a gaming smartphone. But can the Galaxy A90 really be considered to be more creative than a foldable smartphone or a high-end phablet that is likely going to be brimming with innovation?

Samsung is known to implement its experimental ideas within the Galaxy A series. However, it’s possible there is something completely new on the horizon. Perhaps a whole new lineup under a moniker like Galaxy X or Galaxy Z? Or a smartphone featuring an under-display camera? Whatever “creative” aspect this currently unnamed smartphone eventually delivers, it will need to be something pretty amazing to take the limelight away from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Fold.
