, Activision’s Call of Duty: Mobile is now available in beta to Android and iOS players in select territories, the publisher
recently. Along with the beta program, Activision revealed the most important gameplay features Call of Duty Mobile players will be able to experience during the beta test.
But first, it’s worth mentioning that the closed beta test began this week in India, and a regional beta test will begin soon in Australia as well, but Activision says that more territories will have access to the beta in the coming months. That being said, don’t forget to sign up and pre-register for Call of Duty: Mobile to receive access to the public beta coming this summer in select regions.
Moving on to the content you’ll have access to during the beta, here are a couple of gameplay features revealed recently by the US publisher. There will be five multiplayer modes available for players to try out:
- Free for All – the classic every-player-for-themselves deathmatch.
- Frontline – after spawning at a team base, defeat players on the opposing team.
- Team Deathmatch – the classic defeat-players-on-the-opposing-team mode.
- Hardpoint – capture and hold the hardpoint to earn points.
- Domination – capture and hold the designated positions to gain points.
Aside from the first mode listed (Free for All), which support up to eight players, all the rest support up to 10 players. Furthermore, seven maps will be available in Call of Duty: Mobile, including Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked, Crossfire, Sandoff, Killhouse, and Firing Range.
Lots of customization options and gear choices will be available when it comes to loadouts. In addition to Primary and Secondary weapon, there’s a choice of an explosive grenade or tactical grenade to lob, and a devastating weapon skill.

as. A number of iconic characters across the Call of Duty universe will make appearance, so you’ll be able to choose either of them, or you can play a more anonymous entity, and customize the headgear, backpack, and clothing of each.
Here are the iconic characters that will be available in Call of Duty: Mobile at launch: Alex Mason (from Call of Duty: Black Ops), David “Section” Mason (from Call of Duty: Black Ops II), Thomas A. Merric (from Call of Duty: Ghosts), Simon “Ghost” Riley (from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2), John “Soap” MacTavish (from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare), and John Price (from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare).
